The Infinitybox inVIEW Wiper Control Module is a CAN-controlled relay module designed to drive a traditional two-speed automotive windshield wiper motor with a dynamic park terminal. The module provides four relay outputs that control the low-speed, high-speed, park, and washer-pump circuits, and four switch inputs that allow direct wiring of an OEM wiper switch. The module accepts commands from either CAN bus messages or from the discrete switch inputs, applies the wiper-control logic internally, and operates the four relays accordingly. All operation modes — continuous low speed, continuous high speed, intermittent wipe, and washer — are managed by the module's firmware. The intermittent timing is configurable from CAN or from a value stored in non-volatile memory.

One Module, Every Wiper Function: Meet inVIEW

If you’ve ever added wipers to a hot rod or a resto build, you know how it usually goes. The kit comes with a big, bulky rotary switch — or you’re stuck working around the original factory switch — and from that point on, your wipers do exactly what that switch was built to do and nothing more. You’re not choosing how your wipers work. The switch is.

And if you want intermittent wiping? That’s its own headache. The intermittent function is built into the switch itself, so you need a special switch to get it — and if the one you’ve got doesn’t have it, you don’t have intermittent. Your options are set by whatever knob you happened to start with.

inVIEW flips that around.

Instead of a switch that dictates what your wipers can do, inVIEW puts the smarts in the module. Every function — low, high, intermittent, washer, automatic parking — lives in the module, not the switch. That means you get all of it, every time, no matter what control you wire up to it.

What inVIEW Actually Does

inVIEW runs a standard two-speed wiper motor and a washer pump, and it gives you four operating modes:

Low speed — continuous wiping for steady rain.

High speed — continuous wiping for a downpour.

Intermittent — a single wipe on a delay you set, so the blades sweep every few seconds instead of dragging across a half-dry windshield. You tune the delay to match the weather.

Washer — hold the washer command and inVIEW sprays the glass, runs the wipers to clear it, and keeps them going for a few seconds after you let go so you’re not left looking through streaks.

When you switch the wipers off, inVIEW automatically brings the blades back down to their resting position at the base of the windshield. No blades stopped mid-sweep, no manual nudging. It just parks where it should.

Control It Your Way

Here’s where inVIEW fits a custom build instead of fighting it.

Most off-the-shelf wiper kits come with a big, commercial-truck-style knob that you’re expected to bolt onto your dash. Once it’s there, it runs the look of that whole area — whether it matches your interior or not. On a car you’ve spent years getting right, that’s a tough compromise to swallow.

inVIEW doesn’t ask you to make it. Because the module takes its commands as simple inputs, you can drive it with whatever control suits the car: a period-correct toggle, an original column stalk, a vintage rotary switch, clean billet push-buttons, even a hidden switch tucked out of sight. The module doesn’t care what the control looks like — only what it’s telling it to do. Your interior stays yours.

And if you’re running an Infinitybox system, it gets even better — which is where the real story is.

inVIEW Is One Piece of the Bigger Picture

inVIEW is a great wiper controller on its own. But it was designed as part of something larger: the Infinitybox system, the most complete way to control every electrical function in a custom vehicle.

In a traditional build, every system is its own island of relays, fuses, and switches — headlights here, wipers there, power windows somewhere else, each with its own wiring and its own failure points. The Infinitybox system replaces that with one connected electrical backbone. Your switches, screens, and controls talk to smart modules over a single network, and those modules do the heavy lifting. Add a function and you’re adding a module to a system that already exists, not building another island from scratch.

That’s what makes inVIEW more than a wiper module. Drop it into an Infinitybox-equipped car and your wipers join everything else — lighting, accessories, power features — under one coherent system. You control them from the same MASTERCELL switch inputs, the same inTOUCH touchscreens, the same controls you already use for the rest of the car. One system, one way of doing things, far fewer wires and relays buried where you can’t reach them.

inVIEW can also take commands over a J1939 network, so it fits cleanly into more advanced and commercial builds — without you ever needing to think about the technical plumbing underneath.

Built for the Motor You’re Running

Wiper motors park in two different ways, and inVIEW is built for both. You choose the version that matches your motor:

Coast-to-Park — for motors that return the blades home through a dedicated park terminal and an internal cam switch.

Dynamic Park — for motors that bring the blades to rest by braking the motor itself, which is how most modern aftermarket replacement motors work.

There’s also a version built specifically for RainGear wiper systems, with a harness that plugs straight into the motor. Not sure which type you’ve got? We’ll cover how to tell in a follow-up post — and our team is always glad to help you pick the right one.

You can see all three versions, with current pricing and full specs, on the inVIEW product page — and if you’re not sure which one fits your motor, just ask. We’re glad to help.

Documented Like Everything We Build

We don’t ship a product and leave you to figure it out. Every version of inVIEW comes with a complete, plain-language user manual that walks through installation, wiring, operation, and troubleshooting — the same care we put into the hardware.

The Cleanest Wiper Control You Can Build — and a Whole Lot More

inVIEW takes the messiest, most frustrating part of a wiper install and turns it into one sealed module that simply works. But its real strength shows when it’s part of a complete Infinitybox system — where your wipers, lights, and every other electrical function in the car run together, cleanly, on one network you actually understand.

If you’re building or restoring a car and you’re tired of fighting your wiring, this is the way forward. Take a look at the full Infinitybox system and see how much simpler your build can be.  Click here to see the full Infinitybox product lineup.
